acoustic Trio

43ºNorth was created by three members of the band "Wednesday Night Project". The goal of this acoustic group is to share their love of music and performance with others in the community. Before forming this group all three members had various levels of performance experience and amalgamated their talents to create a very fun and entertaining trio. The music is an eclectic mix of country and classic rock songs that lend themselves to the sound and harmonies of the three performers.

Ron Gagnon: (Guitar, Banjo, Harmonica, and Vocals) Ron is a retired Director of Managerial Services in IT. Ron played in a local band several years ago in the Portland area. He brings experience and talents as a lead guitarist and performer to the group.

Brent Poperechny: (Guitar, Vocals) Brent is owner operator of a local saw mill. He brings a love of country music and strong vocal abilities to the trio. Brent has performed on a solo basis in the past but excels in his singing abilities with the musical and vocal support of the group.

Ken Myers: (Guitar, Vocals) Ken is a local restorative dentist. Before his career, Ken was very involved in music and played in a classic rock band in the Detroit area. Although originally a keyboard player, for the past 10 years Ken has been developing his guitar and vocal skills with local musicians/Instructors.
